It breaks our hearts to say this, but due to family circumstances, we need to rehome our beloved Yorkshire Terrier. We’re relocating abroad to care for my mother-in-law, whose health now demands our full attention. Unfortunately, this change means we cannot give him the care and stability he deserves. We are hoping to find him a new family who will cherish him as much as we do.
About Our Yorkshire:
Our Yorkie is a 3-year-old male with a calm and affectionate nature.
He’s incredibly intelligent—knowing several commands (including asking to go to the bathroom and “privacy”) and seeming to understand much of what we say.
While he’s curious and enjoys exploring, he’s not overly energetic; he loves going on walks and playing with his toys but is just as happy cuddling up with his people.
He’s been raised with our 1-year-old daughter and is very gentle and patient.
He gets along with other dogs, though he may need a few days to get comfortable, and he’s okay with cats after a short adjustment period.
He’s also exceptionally quiet and does not bark.
The Ideal Family for Him:
Our Yorkie would do best in a home where he can get lots of attention and affection. He would be happy with:
- Individuals or couples seeking a calm, loving dog companion.
- Families with children, as he’s gentle and very patient.
- Homes with other pets, given a little time to adjust.
